Twin Undersink High Flow Mixer Tap Filter Kit (GT1-3MK)

This high-flow twin undersink filtration kit is designed to connect directly to the cold water line of your standard mixer tap, providing high-capacity filtration without altering your existing sink setup. Ideal for households wanting clean, great-tasting water from the same tap used for everyday kitchen tasks.

The system features ½" straight-through connections for unrestricted flow and includes two metres of high-grade 3/8" tubing (with an internal diameter equivalent to ½" copper) to ensure maximum delivery with minimal pressure drop. Installation is quick and straightforward for setups with flexible mixer tap hoses — no cutting or additional drilling required.

At the heart of the system are two premium coconut carbon cartridges:

• 1 Micron Carbon Block for primary filtration of chlorine, chemicals, and sediment.
• 0.5 Micron Carbon Block for enhanced chlorine reduction and improved taste and odour.

This dual-stage configuration allows for increased contact time and improved contaminant removal while maintaining a strong flow rate, provided adequate incoming pressure is available (minimum 40 PSI recommended).

For added protection, the kit includes a WaterMark Certified Pressure Limiting Valve (PLV), designed to protect your system from potentially damaging mains pressure fluctuations. Please note: a PLV does not protect against water hammer. If water hammer is known or suspected, we recommend fitting a water hammer arrestor.

This updated kit also includes a leak shut-off device, providing an extra layer of safety and peace of mind under the sink.

WaterMark Certified Kit

This system is certified to Australian Plumbing Standards AS 3497:2021 under WaterMark Certificate No. 23247. Certification to AS 3497 is a legal requirement for water filter systems installed by licensed plumbers in Australia. It ensures compliance with structural integrity, pressure performance, and material safety requirements. All components in this system also meet or exceed relevant NSF/ANSI standards for drinking water.

Installation & Maintenance

This system must be installed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local regulations. The unit comes with detailed instructions to guide the installer.

Maintenance
