Our story

Pure Water Filters R Us was started by licensed plumbers who spent decades working on the water supply itself — including laying the water mains that feed Queensland streets and sub-divisions.

That work taught us something most people never see: sediment and chemicals settle in the bottom of those mains, and it flows straight into your home. It's why our team still gets called to blocked cisterns, seized valves and dripping taps — most of it foreign matter flushed through from the mains. Want proof? Lift the lid on your toilet cistern. That brown stain and sludge is what we're talking about.

The same sludge settles in the bottom of your hot water tank, shortening its lifespan and quietly adding to your energy costs.

We started this business because we'd seen what's in the water — and we knew how to fix it. Not with a sales pitch, but with the right filtration, properly installed by a licensed trade.
