The GT8-12 is a durable, UV-resistant single filter housing designed for versatile use in residential and light commercial water filtration applications. This model comes complete with a mounting bracket and housing spanner, making it easy to install and maintain. With ½" BSP threaded ports, it’s ideal for a range of setups including:

 

• Undersink point-of-use filtration
• Caravan and RV water systems
• Outdoor kitchens, BBQ areas, and garden taps
• Light-duty point-of-entry (POE) or appliance-specific installations

 

The included bracket allows for secure wall or cabinet mounting, while the opening tool makes filter changes quick and easy. Cartridges can be selected to suit your specific water quality needs, such as sediment removal or chlorine/taste/odour reduction.

This housing is certified to AS 3497:2021 under WaterMark Certificate Number 23247, ensuring compliance with Australian plumbing standards for structural integrity, material safety, and pressure performance.

Installation must comply with the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA):

 

• For mains-connected (drinking water) use, a licensed plumber is required to install this system.
• For non-mains applications (e.g. caravans, tank water setups, or portable use), a plumber may not be required, provided the system is not connected to a regulated water supply. Always confirm with local regulations.
